Computerized Diagnostic Service
Road Test
The driving and operating
conditions test is extremely important in
helping diagnose drivability concerns. We drive
the vehicles both cold and warm, under a variety
of throttle pressure conditions, manually and
automatically while checking for specific and
general concerns. Linkage, mounts, vibrations,
noises etc… are noted during the road test.
Computer Scan
Scanning your vehicle’s computer
system is not only a state requirement but also
a valuable diagnostic tool for most vehicles
from 1989 and up. In the hands of our trained
technicians, BTS can often determine if a loose
wire, a bad ground or solenoid can solve your
vehicles problems.

External
Inspection
All external adjustments and
controls are checked for proper performance.
We check the engine compartment (under the hood)
and the transmission on the hoist (under the
car). With some vehicles we also take
hydraulic pressure readings while it’s on the
hoist.
Adjust and Recheck
If any adjustments are needed, we
do them and then recheck for performance at no
additional cost.
Pan Examination
It is sometimes necessary to
remove the oil drip pan from your transmission
to check the filters or for loose connections.
Recommendations
When BTS Transmission Specialists
makes a recommendation for repairs rest assure
it’s based on years of experience in the
industry.

Transmission Cooler
Today's
modern vehicles are more efficient, have small components and run hotter
than vehicles in the past. Overheating is any mechanical component's
biggest enemy.
Invest in a
transmission cooler to reduce the risk of lube
system failure in the transmission.
The Transmission
cooler is ideal for:
-
R.V. & Towing
Applications
-
Car, Truck, Van,
S.U.V.
-
Stop and Go
Traffic
-
Long Commute
-
Mountain and
Highway Driving
